Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. seeks a Solar Foreman to direct PV construction activities, supervise craft crews, and ensure adherence to plans, specs and safety standards. You will coordinate layout, installation, testing and commissioning of solar systems on project sites.

Lead toolbox talks, manage schedules, and maintain accurate timecards while ensuring zero injuries and high-quality workmanship on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Solar Technician with PV systems and knowledge of construction craft.
• Ability to lead with safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise planning, layout, installation, testing and repair of solar PV construction.
• Plan and coordinate craft workers and motivate them to work safely and efficiently.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and oversee safety programs.
• Manage schedules, material control and unit hour reporting for the crew.
• Review work against contract plans and inspect installations daily.
• Complete timecards and participate in safety pre-job planning.
