Job summary

Aurora is seeking a leader in Product Operations to own the enterprise software release cycle end-to-end. You will align with engineering, product, and commercial teams to ensure rollout readiness and governance across software and fleet operations.

Based in San Francisco, with options to work from Pittsburgh or Dallas, you will report to the Senior Director, Product Operations and travel to test sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program/product ops or release management in software with hardware dependencies.
• Experience owning a software release cycle end-to-end including build readiness and rollout.
• Proven track record building feature/bug tracking systems at scale.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder credibility between Engineering and Operations.
• Comfort with fast-scaling R&D-to-commercial transitions and repeatable processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own Enterprise-Wide Customer and Operations Release Strategy across software and fleet operations.
• Define Release Operational readiness and risk governance standards.
• Drive Cross-Functional Capability Roadmap Alignment with leaders across teams.
• Unify multi-system releases across software and hardware changes.
• Establish Customer & Operations Release & Health Metrics for leadership.
• Manage Feature & Defect Escalation Frameworks across pipelines.
• Own the Software Release and change Management Cycle with Engineering.
• Manage Feature and Bug Tracking to prevent gaps between teams.
• Coordinate on Mixed Releases with Product Ops & Platform Enablement.
• Drive Release Metrics: predictability, defect escape, lead times.
