Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in Java or Python.
• Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server).
• Experience with Databricks and modern data platforms.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting to solve complex problems.
• Leads modernization and upgrade of the Credit Risk tech stack following industry best practices.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code from others.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation and improve operational stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architectures.
• Leads communities of practice to drive awareness and use of new technologies.
• Contributes to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
