Job summary

You will design, develop, and secure production-grade software, mentor peers in AI-assisted engineering practices, and drive improvements in code quality, testing, and deployment across diverse platforms and data environments.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java and Python; strong SQL/PLSQL skills.
• Experience with Databricks and web/API development (RESTful, AngularJS, EXT JS).

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with non-routine approaches.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code, and reviews code written by others.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and testing.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to improve value and efficiency.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation for stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors/internal teams on architectures.
