Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and practices.
• 3+ years of applied experience in software development.
• Proficient in Java or Python with strong debugging and testing skills.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and Transact-SQL.
• Experience with Databricks and data processing.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and architectural design.

Responsibilities

• Participate in modernization and upgrade of the Credit Risk technology stack in accordance with industry best practices.
• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to solve non-routine problems.
• Produces secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms for systems integration.
• Creates architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visualizations and reporting to support continuous improvement.
• Identify hidden data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities and explore emerging technologies.
• Leverage enterprise AI coding tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding standards.
