Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Lead Software Engineer-Simulation (Level 5) to join the Flight Simulation | Labs team in Berkeley, MO. You will lead the design and development of the TDK framework and related models to support testing and analysis for Boeing defense programs.

You will serve as a subject matter expert on the TDK product, coordinating with cross-functional teams and advising management on best practices for software simulation across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

10+ years of object oriented software development (C/C++, Java).
10+ years of embedded real-time software development.
7+ years modeling and simulation experience.
7+ years software requirements, design, hardware/software integration and testing.
Experience with Linux in virtualized environments (CentOS/RHEL a plus).

Responsibilities

Oversees design, architecture, and development of simulation models and environments.
Partners with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements and dynamics.
Oversees validation, verification, and refinement of simulation software and test procedures.
Reviews documentation and maintains technical code, algorithms, and models.
Leads cross functional teams to integrate simulation with hardware.
