Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the Test Integration and Implementation Payments Technology Team in the Corporate & Investment Bank line.

You will guide an agile team to design, deliver, and secure trusted technology products across multiple domains. Responsibilities include leading reliability initiatives, shaping architecture, and driving data-driven improvements while maintaining strong security and auditability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages (Java and/or Python).
• Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud (Kubernetes and AWS).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve reliability and stability of applications and platforms using data-driven analytics.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met.
• Gather, analyze, and develop visualizations from large data sets to drive software improvements.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted reliability workflows and ensure secure, auditable delivery practices.
