Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co., within the Chief Technology Organization (CTO), seeks a Lead Software Engineer who will be an integral technical contributor on an agile team that builds trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way.

You will design and deliver secure production code, review peers’ work, and drive AI-assisted engineering practices across the SDLC to improve quality, speed, and reliability while aligning with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years applied experience (NAMR/APAC – India/ LATAM/ Hong Kong)
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in Java
• Experience with data extraction/manipulation in PostgreSQL/Amazon Aurora
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools with validation standards
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows
• Proficient in SDLC
• Advanced understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Knowledge of financial services IT systems
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience across scalable apps

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting
• Develops secure production code and reviews code
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and outcomes
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and value
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation for stability
