Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory seeks a Senior Software Engineer to apply software engineering principles to complex analytical processes and develop software solutions for major projects in Idaho Falls. You will mentor junior engineers, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute to platform governance, roadmaps, and security/compliance requirements while delivering scalable, maintainable code.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 9+ years direct professional experience, or equivalent with HS +15 years.
Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio or VS Code.
Experience as ServiceNow Platform Owner/Tech Lead or equivalent with governance, roadmap development, release strategy, environment management, and enterprise architecture alignment.
Ability to mentor developers and lead cross‑functional teams on platform-wide best practices.

Responsibilities

Lead technical reviews and provide recommendations for technology solutions.
