Job summary

ADP Innovation Labs is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with extensive NodeJS experience to join an emerging team. You will design and develop new products for Small Businesses using NodeJS, React, Docker, and cloud tech in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, champion best practices, and deliver polished software with strong CI/CD and monitoring. 8–12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 8–12 years of software engineering experience.
• Expert in Node.js with React experience.
• Experience with agile/scrum ceremonies and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend and backend services in NodeJS and React.
• Performance tuning at code and database levels.
• Support production software operations, test and debug.
• Develop and extend CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and maintain automated monitoring, alerting and reporting.
• Report progress to project teams and managers.
• Build responsible applications using ReactJS.
