Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Software Architect for the ADP Innovation Labs to define next‑gen products.

You will investigate, design, and implement technical solutions, collaborating with lean/agile teams, documenting Domain Models, API schemas, and tooling using NodeJS, DSQL, and GraphQL. You will work hands‑on in architecture and coding, leading cross‑functional teams across regions, and presenting to leaders with executive presence.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in CS/Engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• TDD experience is a must; automation of quality gates.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in UML diagrams using EA, Mural, or similar tools.
• Experience with NodeJS, Python, or Go; API or backend development.
• Experience with AWS, Jenkins, Docker; SOX/compliance a plus.
• Ability to translate business domains into scalable, high-performance designs.
• Hands-on architecture/code split (50-50).

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions between domain experts to extract information for models.
• Translate complex domains into scalable, high-performance, secure designs.
• Hands-on contribute to the codebase (50-50 architecture/code split).
• Create and maintain Domain Models as part of the Architecture/Development team.
• Create and maintain API and Solution documentation.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standards.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Domain Experts to align solutions with business goals.
