Job summary

ADP, Inc. is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to drive frontend and backend services using NodeJS and React. You will build scalable apps, optimize performance, and extend CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

You will lead with a hands-on approach, mentor engineers, and coordinate with global teams while delivering polished software and engaging in agile ceremonies. Strong NodeJS/Java experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Node.js or Java development.
• Experience designing highly available, performant apps.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong TDD and best practices advocate.
• Experience with Docker, AWS and Jenkins.
• DevOps and build engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend and backend services in NodeJS and React.
• Tune performance at code and database levels.
• Support production operations, test and debug programs.
• Extend CI and CD pipelines and tooling.
• Design and maintain automated monitoring and alerting.
• Report progress to teams and managers.
• Build robust applications using ReactJS.
