Job summary

JPMorganChase in the Corporate sector, Wholesale Credit Risk, seeks a Lead Software Engineer to help build trusted, scalable technology products. You’ll be a core technical contributor, shaping architecture across multiple domains and delivering secure, production-ready code.

You will drive AI-assisted engineering practices, ensure secure coding standards, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to meet risk, resiliency, and security objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java and Python with strong SQL skills.
• Experience leading AI-assisted software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Drives team adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices with validation standards and code quality emphasis.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value realization.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation and improve operational stability of applications.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams on architectural designs.
