Job summary

JPMorganChase in Houston seeks a Lead Software Engineer in the Equities Derivatives Front Office Flow Technology Team. You will contribute to agile delivery of trusted market-leading tech, building secure, scalable solutions and partnering with front-office stakeholders to enable derivative trading workflows.

Responsibilities include designing robust APIs, developing Java services, front-end interfaces, promoting responsible AI practices, and mentoring teammates while driving code quality,

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations

Responsibilities

Work with subject matter experts to develop solutions that meet business requirements.
Develop Java services within a distributed hybrid-cloud system that supports end-to-end derivative product processing
Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes
