JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Chicago, IL to guide a team in building trusted, scalable technology products within a security-focused framework. You will contribute across multiple domains, driving architecture, delivery, and operational excellence.

The role emphasizes mentoring up to ten junior engineers, advancing CI/CD, and collaborating with product owners and cross-functional teams to ensure robust, disaster-ready systems.

Competenze

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language such as Java and React.
• Proficiency in automation and CI/CD across the SDLC.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, security and resiliency.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spring Boot, JSON, and AWS services.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable cloud-native apps on AWS.
