Job summary

S&P Global Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable fixed income platforms. You will lead design efforts, contribute hands-on development, and mentor a team of engineers across cross-functional groups.

You will drive AI-driven analytics, ensure data lineage and auditability, and continuously modernize our technology stack in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise Java, distributed systems, and cloud-native

Qualifications

10+ years of software development experience with Enterprise Java Development: Java 17/21 or equivalent JVM languages.
Enterprise Framework Experience: Spring ecosystem or comparable frameworks.
Distributed Systems Architecture: Microservices, REST, and message brokers like Kafka/RabbitMQ.
AI Engineering: hands-on experience building AI/ML models in enterprise software.
Cloud proficiency: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
SQL/NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.
Fixed income system design and analytics experience.
Agile methodologies和product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance calculation engines for fixed income indices.
Lead architecture discussions and establish best practices for reliability.
Mentor junior engineers and drive platform modernization.
Architect analytics services balancing latency, throughput, and cost.
Implement end-to-end data lineage, reconciliation, and auditability.
