Job summary

S&P Global Dow Jones Indices in New York seeks a senior software architect to design and build high-performance calculation engines for fixed income indices, processing large-scale financial data within an agile environment.

You will lead a team of engineers, review architectures, and drive best practices for reliability, scalability, and reproducibility across analytics models, inputs, and outputs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in Java/C#/Python/Scala.
• Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance calculation engines for fixed income indices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Lead code reviews, architecture discussions, and best-practices for reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and grow the engineering team.
• Architect end-to-end data lineage, reconciliation, auditability across analytics models.
