Job summary

Day-to-day, you will lead design, implementation, integration and testing using Java and C++, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with customers to clarify requirements. Willingness to travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a technical lead, software architect, or project-level software leadership role.
• Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Own system and software architecture and translate requirements into architecture strategies.
• Lead design, implementation, integration, and test using Java and C++.
• Serve as a technical point of contact and influence engineering practices to improve reliability and speed.
• Diagnose and resolve defects and integration issues across deployed systems.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and improvements.
• Produce documentation, participate in reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
• Travel up to 20%.
