Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 years of experience as Web/Python Developer.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, autovacuum, and transaction isolation levels.
• Experience optimizing queries with PostgreSQL features, including CTEs and Window Functions.
• Proficiency with Docker, multi-stage Dockerfiles, cross‑platform images, and multi-container orchestration.
• Experience deploying scalable services with Kubernetes and AWS (EKS), resource definitions, traffic routing, and autoscaling.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy, polymorphic relationships, and avoiding N+1 queries.
• Building RESTful services with FastAPI/Flask, including validation, async endpoints, and middleware.
• Front-end integration with RESTful APIs and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework, CI/CD with GitLab, and ETL workflows with Celery Canvas.
• Strong Python async programming (asyncio).

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Collectly features in a secure, well-tested, scalable manner.
• Integrate Collectly with EHR systems.
• Build and maintain ETL data pipelines.
• Design scalable PostgreSQL schemas and optimize queries.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality features.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and align with needs.
• Research emerging tools and guide architectural decisions.
• Solve complex technical problems with high-quality code and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor peers.
• Address technical debt with sustainable improvements.
• Represent Collectly in customer discussions and technical conversations.
• Independently ship small to mid-sized features and contribute to larger initiatives.
• Lead integration efforts for Pre-visit Intake Automation, AI Eligibility & Benefits, and AI Cost Estimates.
