Job summary

RevSpring seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and build robust data pipelines using Python and DBT, focusing on ETL and data processing at scale. You will collaborate with product managers, data engineers and business leaders to translate requirements into reliable software solutions.

You will implement data transformations, integrate healthcare data via FHIR, review code, optimize performance and ensure reliable deployments across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building data pipelines with Python.
• Hands-on experience building data models and transformations with DBT.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and complex data pipelines.
• 4+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge and understanding of Git.
• 3+ years of experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud tools.
• Experience with FHIR and healthcare data standards (preferred).
• Experience with Apache Airflow / Google Composer.
• Knowledge of Docker, Linux, Shell/Bash, and virtualization.
• Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and UML diagrams will help.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers and leaders to translate requirements into software solutions for processing large data.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Python and DBT for ETL and data transformations.
• Build and maintain integrations for healthcare data using FHIR and related standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code and adhere to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality codebase.
• Optimize software performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Stay up to date with data processing trends and apply them to products.
• Meet with stakeholders weekly to discuss priorities and project requirements.
• Ensure deployments are tested thoroughly and signed off by stakeholders and leadership.
• Handle incoming support requests and errors promptly across time zones.
