Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the Account Lifecycle Platform in a hybrid schedule across locations in the Eastern time zone. The role emphasizes ownership of onboarding workflows, integrations with KYC providers, and rule-driven, automated processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience leading end-to-end platform components or modules.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML regulatory workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end design and delivery of onboarding and account lifecycle capabilities.
• Own platform components across workflow orchestration, rule engines, integrations, and document processing.
• Enable modernization of onboarding processes into a digital-first, automated experience.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure code for enterprise applications.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers in an Agile environment.
