Job summary

Mastercard Technologies, LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to own complex cross-service problems and drive resolution across teams. You will write and review code, promote secure coding practices, and design service-level solutions aligned with business needs.

You will participate in agile processes, guide prioritization with product partners, and evangelize engineering excellence. Remote work option within the United States, with incentive programs and a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, IT Management, CS, CE or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in software development.
• Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, SQL and secure coding standards (OWASP).

Responsibilities

• Write code to build and enhance applications/services and promote code reviews and other standard development practices.
• Define, design, and develop procedures and solutions at a service level to meet business requirements.
• Lead and participate in agile processes and drive prioritization with product partners.
