Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• 5+ years building web-based applications on the Microsoft stack.
• 3+ years with Microsoft Azure cloud and JS/HTML frontend.
• 3+ years with MS SQL and C# development.
• Experience with Angular and Azure DevOps / GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for H&R Block business apps.
• Modernize software architecture and transform technology strategies.
• Lead day‑to‑day team tasks, developer support, and environment upkeep.
• Develop features using standards, and address defects with unit tests.
• Collaborate with QA, UX, and other teams on requirements and approaches.
• Plan and implement strategic product direction and scalability features.
• Drive technical design reviews and code quality across maintenance work.
• Translate complex requirements into technical specs and PRDs.
• Mentor teammates on best practices and recent tech advances.
