A well-established law firm is expanding its software engineering team and is looking for a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and modernize enterprise applications.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on software development, architecture, mentoring, and technical planning. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and business stakeholders on initiatives involving cloud applications, AI, workflow automation, and enterprise software modernization.
Responsibilities
- Build and architect production-grade full stack applications
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and engineering guidance
- Conduct code and design reviews and establish development standards
- Lead technical planning, solution design, and proof-of-concepts
- Design APIs, microservices, and distributed applications
- Build and modernize applications within Microsoft Azure
- Partner with product and business teams to develop scalable solutions
Current Projects
- Enterprise workflow automation across billing, invoicing, HR, M&A, and pitch/pricing processes
- AI-powered litigation applications
- Modernization of internally developed applications into enterprise-grade software
- Continued development of cloud-based enterprise applications
Required Experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 2-3+ years in a technical leadership capacity
- Current or recent Lead Software Engineer experience preferred; strong Senior Engineers with leadership responsibilities considered
- Strong hands-on full stack development experience
- C# / .NET and React or Next.js
- Production experience building applications in Microsoft Azure from the ground up
- Experience with Azure services such as App Service, Container Apps/AKS, Azure SQL, Service Bus, and/or Azure OpenAI
- Strong system design and cloud architecture experience
- REST and/or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and distributed applications
- CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms
- Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and contributing to architecture and technical planning

- Workflow automation platforms such as n8n or Temporal
- AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Codex
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
