Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline plus significant engineering experience.
• Hands-on full-stack capability across web and mobile tech with modern backend skills.
• 2+ years AWS serverless experience with core services.
• Proven CI/CD and infrastructure as code experience.
• Experience prototyping with GenAI tools in professional settings.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring teams.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, context handling, and AI tool limitations.
• Willingness for rotational on-call responsibilities outside business hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural and design decisions for features, services, and platforms.
• Break down epics into implementation plans with clear ownership.
• Review designs, code changes, and pull requests; mitigate risks and dependencies.
• Drive root-cause analysis for production incidents and ensure operational readiness.
• Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway).
• Implement CI/CD, IaC, and blue-green deployment strategies; ensure observability and testing.
• Lead AI-first development with GenAI tools and evaluate AI outputs for production readiness.
• Coach engineers and align technical work with business goals; collaborate with product and QA.
