Job summary

Cox is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive full‑stack design, development, and delivery across small, high‑velocity teams with an AI‑first mindset. Prototype with Claude, Bedrock, and GenAI tools to accelerate output and innovation.

You will lead architecture decisions, decompose epics, review code, and ensure production readiness across React/TypeScript, Flutter/Dart, and Python/Node.js. Strong AWS serverless experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in a related field.
• True full‑stack fluency across web, mobile, and backend.
• Minimum 2 years AWS serverless experience (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure‑as‑code; AI tool usage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architecture decisions for features, services or platforms.
• Decompose epics into technical plans with clear ownership and deliverables.
• Review and approve designs, code changes, and PRs; drive root‑cause analysis of production issues.
• Develop and deploy full‑stack apps (React/TypeScript, Flutter/Dart, Python/Node.js).
• Build scalable REST/GraphQL APIs on AWS; implement CI/CD, IaC, and blue/green deployment.
• Mentor engineers, partner with product, and promote quality and observability.
