Atrium Staffing LLC is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer in New York, hybrid with flexible remote options. You will drive engineering strategy across a growing SaaS suite, mentor engineers, and shape cloud architecture toward scalable, serverless solutions.

The role emphasizes AI-powered development practices and cross-team collaboration. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of experience, strong Python/NodeJS/ReactJS, and proven leadership in complex projects.

Qualifications

• - 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• - Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, and modern frameworks.
• - Experience designing agentic AI-powered systems and related tooling.
• - Hands-on with LangGraph/LangChain/LangFuse or OpenAI Agents SDK.
• - Strong AWS cloud and serverless expertise.
• - Familiarity with PostgreSQL/AWS Aurora and GraphQL.

Responsibilities

• - Lead technical strategy and architecture across enterprise SaaS applications.
• - Collaborate with product leadership on features and priorities.
• - Define engineering policies, standards and best practices.
• - Identify and integrate AI engineering tools to boost efficiency.
• - Design and implement agentic systems using AI frameworks.
• - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teams.
• - Audit products and processes; recommend improvements.
• - Lead code reviews, CI, automated testing, and QA.
• - Support high-level design, planning and execution.
• - Scale applications toward serverless cloud infrastructure.
• - Support hiring, resourcing and project prioritisation.
• - Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Release, and Tech teams.
