Job summary

You will be a core technical contributor in an agile environment, delivering critical solutions across multiple domains and guiding AI-assisted development practices to raise code quality and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years applied experience in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of AWS / Kubernetes.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s).
• Experience leading effective use of AI-assisted development tools with ability to validate AI outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, security and resiliency.
• Advanced understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Practical cloud native experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Drives team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools to improve automation and value.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability of applications and systems.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and applicability.
