What you will do:
- Participate in the development of the simulation Software stack - full stack
- Write high quality software, follow best practices and participate in code review
- Work collaboratively with your peers, Onboard other peers
- Participate in writing software design and requirements discussions
- Work tightly with the Robotic team and any other team, aligning their needs with your implementation, reducing gaps and deviations, while focusing on Quality and Value.
- Improve and Maintain CI/CD.
- Participate actively in brainstorming and ideation sessions

Required
- Experience of building simulation and rendering platforms
- Experience in 3D object rendering and manipulation
- Experience with mapping technology (Like GIS, Terrain mapping, OpenLayers)
- Experience in leveraging web graphic / animation standard library
- Advanced knowledge of designing, building and using open source, publish data and APIs (like GraphQL)
- Experience in designing, publishing and maintaining DB schema (SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience with best practices and processes for engineering team
- Experience with AI coding tools (like Claude, Copilot, Cursor)
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS (Preferred), Azure, Google Cloud / Firebase
- Experience with web automation tooling and deploying on CI/CD (Like WebPack, ESLint, Playwright)
Top Candidate
- 5+ years of experience hands-on coding backend in coding languages such as Java or Node.js
- 3+ years of experience hands-on coding frontend in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience hands-on coding with Frameworks such as Angular, React/Next.js
- Experience with agile methodology
- Good knowledge of Python
- Experience with Nvidia Omniverse or other Simulation Platforms

Summary Pay Range
$128,470.00 - $208,770.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
