Job summary

Gallman Consulting is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a fully remote role. You will provide technical leadership across core subsystems of our simulation platform, guiding architecture and championing modern engineering practices.

The role requires hands-on delivery of complex features with autonomy and a focus on long-term code health, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure technical direction aligns with product goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in desktop software development, ideally from a simulation software background.
• Proficiency in modern C (C14 or later).
• Experience developing Windows applications with Visual Studio (2019 or later).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) for Windows UI development.
• Experience with object serialization and structured data formats (XML, JSON).
• Applying ML to simulation is a plus.
