Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science or related field with progressive software development experience.
• Thorough understanding of software development concepts, principles, and theory.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• Strong communication, documentation and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine user requirements and plan software development within the broader organizational scope.
• Formulate detailed plans for implementation, including language, platform and resources.
• Code, test, document, and deploy enterprise applications.
• Coordinate maintenance and updates to keep pace with evolving environments.
• Provide direction to less experienced developers and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with software standards and maintain confidentiality.
