Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health, a UHS facility in Dearborn, MI, seeks a Lead Social Worker for a full-time role overseeing assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning across inpatient and outpatient services.

Education: MSW required; Licensure: LLMSW or LMSW; prior behavioral health experience is essential. The Lead will support clinical services, coordinate treatment teams, and mentor staff as needed.

Qualifications

• MSW required and licensure as LLMSW or LMSW.
• Previous behavioral health experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with maintaining the daily Assessments Audit, including monitoring new patients and timeliness of psychosocial assessment and master treatment plan.
• Assist with scheduling treatment teams and updating the audit for unit-specific teams.
• Support timely discharge planning, pre-admission activities, and discharge workflows.
• Back up the Director of Clinical Services in their absence and ensure assignments, groups, and discharges are completed.
• Assist in New Hire Orientation when the DSC is unavailable.
• Ensure utilization management requests are completed in chart timely.
