Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Lead Social Worker to oversee psychosocial assessments, master treatment planning, and discharge planning within a 144-bed behavioral health facility.

The role reports to the Director of Clinical Services and supports a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely patient care and smooth operations. The position includes backup responsibilities, staff orientation support, and maintaining utilization management documentation as part of daily

Qualifications

• MSW required.
• LLMSW or LMSW licensure required.
• Previous behavioral health experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining the daily Assessments Audit, including monitoring the addition of new patients, ensuring timeliness of the Psychosocial Assessment & the Master Treatment Plan, and ensuring timeliness and completion of collateral contacts.
• As needed, the Lead will assist with scheduling treatment teams for each unit, and ensuring the audit is updated to reflect master and updated treatment teams were held for respective patients.
• Assists with ensuring a timely and effective workflow with discharges, discharge planning, and pre-admits.
• Will back up the Director of Clinical services in their absence, ensuring assignments, groups, and discharges are completed as needed.
• Will assist in completing New Hire Orientation for new staff in the event the DSC is not able to.
• Assists with ensuring all utilization management request are completed in the chart in a timely manner.
