Job summary

Swift's Cyber Fusion Centre is seeking a Lead SOC Analyst to join our security operations and threat hunting efforts in Virginia. You will lead the development of threat hunting programs, mentor junior staff, and coordinate incident response activities across cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

The role requires 8+ years in SOC/IR/Threat Hunting, strong communication, and experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and SOAR. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years of working experience in a SOC, Incident Response, or Threat Hunting role.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
• Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, SOAR).
• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to document investigations clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and operationalization of a formal Threat Hunting program within the SOC (Lead).
• Participate in a 24x7 SOC with occasional shift work.
• Provide guidance to less senior team members.
• Support Incident Response and Threat Detection development activities and report to Senior Management.
• Lead and participate in IR simulation exercises from a blue-team perspective.
• Coordinate eradication and remediation actions with stakeholders.
