Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a Senior Smart Building Consultant for our Los Angeles, CA office. You will lead BMS/EPMS/DCIM/SCADA design and coordinate teams across Aviation, Financial, Healthcare, and other markets to deliver integrated systems.

The role requires 7+ years in the controls industry, a strong client focus, and excellent communication skills. Travel across the US is likely as projects interface with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years in the Controls and Instrumentation Industry as a Consultant, Contractor or Client Facility Manager.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC/electrical instrumentation design and building control sequences.
• Experience with BMS/EPMS/DCIM/SCADA systems design, implementation and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead BMS consulting efforts, build a staff, and manage project teams.
• Prepare controls design drawings and system specifications for multiple markets.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet timelines and budgets.
• Support business development and client relationship management.
