Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Technology Systems Consultant with systems design experience focusing on audiovisual, telecom, IT or security. You will design highly technical spaces and coordinate with architects, engineers and clients on projects ranging from data centers to corporate interiors.

The role requires 7–10 years of relevant design experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with CAD/BIM tools such as AutoCAD and Revit. P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Science or Technical discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
• 7–10 years of audiovisual, telecom, IT, or security design experience in diverse markets
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of active network systems and structured cabling design
• Has general working knowledge of Wi‑Fi network and telephony design concepts
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit preferred
• Certification such as P.E., ICT certification (PSP, CPP, CTS, CTS‑D, RCDD, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, PMP, etc.) required

Responsibilities

• Creates and develops trade-specific system design layouts (CAD/BIM) and calculations
• Coordinates with other disciplines and internal/external clients/consultants
• Assists in project scheduling, budgets, and field inspections
• Performs QA/QC and supports design production of drawings, calculations, reports and specifications
• Represents Syska Hennessy Group in interactions with clients and project teams
