Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing is seeking a Skidding/E-House Engineering Manager to lead the structural engineering for skid-mounted packages and electrical houses. You will ensure IBC compliance, state licensing, and PE stamping, while guiding a team of engineers to deliver safe, code-compliant designs on schedule.

You will review calculations, manage licensing across multiple states, and collaborate with project teams, inspectors, and customers to drive quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• PE license required; ability to stamp drawings.
• Experience with IBC compliance and state licensing.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams.
• Strong communication with customers and inspectors.
• Lift calculations and rigging plan experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for skid-mounted packages and E-Houses.
• Ensure code compliance, licensing, inspections, and PE stamping.
• Review calculations, drawings, and specs for safety and quality.
• Oversee licensing across states where projects occur.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff; manage projects to schedule.
• Coordinate with AHJs and third-party inspectors.
