Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating, site work and demolition.
• Extensive knowledge of preconstruction processes and bidding.
• Proficiency with HCSS Heavybid or similar estimating software.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team.
• Proactive approach to anticipate issues and craft solutions.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for site work and demolition projects.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes against project specs and scope.
• Use estimating software to create accurate bids.
• Collaborate with project managers during preconstruction for insights.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits and estimate reviews.
• Track and update project costs; adjust estimates as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subs, and suppliers.
• Assist in negotiating and awarding contracts.
