This position serves as a site supervisor supporting U.S. Army logistics operations. The Site Supervisor will provide on-site leadership and oversight of logistics support activities (maintenance, supply, and transportation functions), ensuring readiness, compliance, and efficient execution of contract requirements.
Multiple positions at various locations throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.
Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent GED; trade school graduate and Automotive Excellence or Master Mechanic certification preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years documented leadership experience in logistics, maintenance, equipment storage, and/or warehouse operations, preferably in support of the U.S. Army.
Comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions in assigned area of responsibility (military logistics, heavy equipment maintenance, warehouse operations, etc.).
Comprehensive knowledge of all installed product software at the user/operator level and automated data processing policies and procedures as they pertain to assigned equipment.
Ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to customers.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a mechanic for heavy equipment; repairing and maintaining one or more of the following categories: military and/or commercial design general/special purpose, base maintenance, aircraft, aircraft and equipment towing vehicles, aircraft refueling vehicles and equipment, or material handling equipment/vehicular equipment.
A valid CDL Driver's License class A and the ability to maintain military gate pass access are required.
Must have skills in verbal and written communication to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, fellow employees, and customers. Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers, and staff members.
Must be able to read and interpret various information to ensure procedures are followed.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally be required to lift several pounds. The employee must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work environment will require on‑call rotation. The employee may be exposed to noise, dirt, dust, grease, machinery with moving parts, irritating chemicals, and occasional cold, heat, and inclement weather. The work may require the use of protective devices, such as masks, goggles, and/or gloves.
A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
