Job summary

Desert Preschool Academy is seeking a Site Supervisor to provide leadership and guidance to staff while ensuring high-quality early childhood education. You will conduct classroom observations, support developmentally appropriate activities, and guarantee safety and regulatory compliance across Title 5, Title 22, and CACFP requirements.

The role requires an AA/AS in ECE/CD (preferred) and at least 24 ECE units, plus two years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred.
• Minimum 24 semester units in ECE/CD with core courses in administration/supervision.
• Infant/Toddler units: 6 semester units if assigned to infant centers.
• Two years of teaching or related experience with young children.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff through performance observations and evaluations.
• Observe classrooms to strengthen teaching practices and learning environments.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Title 5/Title 22 and CACFP standards.
• Maintain DRDP data entry and family communications via Learning Genie.
• Schedule and manage staffing to meet adult-to-child ratios and coverage.
• Prepare and submit agency compliance documentation and reports.
• mentor and coach staff; facilitate site meetings and professional development.
• Support inclusive practices (IEP/IFSP) and family engagement.
