Job summary

CCI Prime Contractors LLC is seeking a Site Safety Officer to lead safety and occupational health programs at the Charlestown Navy Yard, MA and other locations as assigned. The role includes inspections, training, safety meetings, and enforcement of OSHA and project requirements for a federal construction environment.

The candidate should have 5+ years of federal construction safety management, OSHA 30, and experience with EM385 1-1, eCMS, RMS, and Procore.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of federal construction experience with NAVFAC, USACE, or Coast Guard.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive construction safety management experience.
• OSHA 30 hour First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Additional Safety Certifications such as lead awareness, scaffolding, fall protection, hot work, confined space.
• Proficiency with EM385 1-1; experience with eCMS, RMS, Procore is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, site safety orientation, activity-specific training and enforcement.
• Perform safety meetings.
• Attend pre-construction and pre-work meetings including three phase inspection meetings.
• Develop and review safety submittals; enforce Accident Prevention Plans (APP).
• Monitor and manage subcontractor safety and health compliance; maintain logs and reports.
