Caterpillar is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of its eCommerce platform systems and infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams to automate tasks, improve stability, and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks.
Experience measuring and tuning system performance and network throughput.
Knowledge of release management for software products and updates.
Experience improving software reliability using principled approaches and metrics.

Responsibilities

Monitor and troubleshoot production and QA systems to identify performance and reliability issues.
Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 incident support of eCommerce platforms.
Design and maintain automated deployment and release processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and implement operational procedures.
