Caterpillar's Cat Digital is seeking a Cloud Operations Analyst to provide platform stability and production support for its autonomy-focused platform. You will manage on-call incidents, incident management, and coordinate resolution across teams.

You will drive continuous improvement through runbooks, monitoring, and collaboration with engineering, product, and operations. This role is based in the Chicago area with potential offices in Peoria or Irving.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills with cloud apps and data pipelines.
• Experience with AWS monitoring and observability tools.
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to translate needs into solution.
• Effective communication skills for status updates and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage production incidents impacting AWS/Cloud services.
• Own incident tickets through triage, resolution, and closure.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to diagnose issues and coordinate fixes.
• Lead or contribute to root-cause analyses and follow-up actions.
• Ensure platform reliability via monitoring, security, and best practices.
• Drive reliability and operational readiness across cloud platforms.
• Understand end-to-end technical and business flows to support production services.
• Develop and maintain runbooks for operational support.
• Lead knowledge transfer sessions for on-call readiness.
