Job summary

Tekmetric, a Houston-founded cloud-based platform for auto repair shops, is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will design scalable cloud infrastructure, automate pipelines, and lead reliability efforts across teams.

We value ownership, curiosity, and collaboration. Expect hybrid/remote work with travel for team offsites and quarterly events, plus a strong focus on security and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of cloud environments (AWS or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize system performance.
• Automate deployment, testing, and infra management.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Apply security and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
