Sterling Industrial LLC, Evansville, IN, is seeking a Site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator for a major industrial construction project. You will lead onsite EHS activities, oversee 10-12 field safety coordinators, and ensure compliance with safety programs and regulations.

The ideal candidate has extensive industrial construction EHS experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of fostering a proactive safety culture across a multi-contractor

Qualifications

• 4-year or 2-year degree in health and safety or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 and 1910 standards.
• 5+ years' experience as a Safety Professional in industrial/power plant environments.
• Construction knowledge in energy sector is a plus.
• First Aid, CPR, OSHA 30/OSHA 500 certifications preferred.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills for training and communication.
• Strong leadership to coach personnel toward goals.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Satisfactory background check.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise EHS program implementation on site.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits and corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify root causes.
• Deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
• Maintain EHS records and prepare regulatory reports.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple contractors.
