Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in land development and capital improvement project design and management.
• Professional Engineer license in North Carolina or Registered Landscape Architect license, or ability to obtain NC licensure within two months.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, budgets, and schedules.
• Experience providing technical oversight and mentorship to engineering staff.
• Experience coordinating permits, project submittals, and regulatory agency approvals.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you will provide both technical leadership and project management oversight for a variety of land development projects. You will collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver high-quality solutions from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams on land development projects, including site layout, grading, erosion control, stormwater management, utility design, and related engineering calculations and reports.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while supporting business development, marketing, and proposal efforts.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level staff.
• Coordinate project submittals and regulatory approvals with local and state agencies.
• Collaborate with department leadership and Dewberry offices nationwide to expand services, strengthen existing client relationships, and deliver high-quality solutions to clients.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• 6-10 years of experience in the design and management of land development and capital improvement projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license required, or ability to obtain NC licensure within two months of hire.
• Strong proficiency with:
