Job summary

The Kleingers Group is seeking a Staff Site Civil Engineer to lead planning, evaluation, and design for civil projects in our West Chester, OH and Louisville, KY offices. You will mentor interns, coordinate with architects and contractors, and apply CAD tools to deliver compliant designs while engaging with clients and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree required.
• Minimum two consecutive years of civil engineering experience.
• Public speaking ability is desired.
• Execute basic design projects from start to finish as primary designer.
• Develop baseline knowledge of state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders and management on engineering requirements for construction.
• Use design and drawing tools to render and communicate designs.
• Set design specifications based on engineering requirements.
• Plan projects from drawings, blueprints, and site data.
• Draft and present reports related to projects.
• Perform material and cost calculations for construction.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
• Coordinate with surveyors to establish reference points and elevations.
• Monitor progress and ensure standards are met.
• Teach methodologies to others and maintain intermediate design tool knowledge.
