Job summary

Positron AI is building next-generation AI inference accelerators designed from the ground up for low-latency, high-throughput large language model inference. Our first-generation ASIC, Asimov, is a cutting-edge accelerator targeting frontier AI workloads, with additional generations already underway.

Positron AI is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own AI inference and software planning end to end. You will translate where models and inference systems are heading into concrete requirements

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in ML systems, inference infra, or serving-stack engineering with ownership of performance/architecture trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Be the leader in AI Inference & Software Technical Product Planning at Positron.
• Write requirements for inference software stack: model coverage, numerics, features/modes, serving-stack, managed-service capabilities.
• Track model frontier and translate into requirements before escalations.
• Communicate roadmap with engineering and GTM.
• Define and manage software product lifecycle: versions, release trains, feature modes, catalog/deprecation.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to align roadmaps.
• Create scope/feasibility frameworks to convert innovations into engineering requests.
• Ensure software products are well documented.
• Streamline planning with agentic AI.
