Job summary

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 in Malta, NY is seeking an experienced professional to support the 300mm semiconductor technology development integration team. The core responsibilities involve ownership of process integration of Silicon Photonic devices from development to production, requiring a strong technical understanding of Silicon Photonics.

Qualifications

• PhD/Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or related field.
• Experience in Si photonics and advanced photonics concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading Silicon photonics I/O development and qualification.
• Collaborating with device, process module, and packaging teams on I/O solutions.
• Driving technology cost reduction and process convergence.
