The role focuses on owning process integration of silicon photonics devices and driving improvements in yield, Cp/Cpk, electrical performance, and defectivity. Responsibilities include owning tech module ramp from development through production, leading experiments and hardware disposition, developing and qualifying silicon photonics process flows, monitoring line performance

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in photonics, optics, electrical/electronic engineering, or related engineering physical sciences.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the 45nm Silicon Photonics technology product ramp from development through production.
• Maintain full ownership of a technology module, prioritizing projects, delegating tasks, and leading experiment definition and hardware disposition.
• Develop and qualify silicon photonics process flows and integrations to meet performance, reliability, and defectivity requirements.
• Monitor line performance through data analysis, resolve issues, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve yield, reduce costs, and support customer engagement.
